A week ago, the state of California voted on proposition 8 or what others have been calling prop 8. This proposition banned same sex marriages. I am not gay, but it weighs heavy on my heart when I see another civil injustice in the world. If this world is not filled with enough indecencies already, we now have another one on our hands. I didn’t have the right words to explain my reasoning’s, and then I saw the comments of Keith Olberman. Keith Olberman states that “everyone deserves the same chance at permanence and happiness.” Here is the full video comments.

It’s been a while since I got to sit down and write a post. But, I assure you there is a good reason why. I’M DOING THE THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY! Not to say that this blog does not make me happy, but I have other dreams. It’s no secret what you need to do to achieve your dreams. It’s not easy. If it was, everyone would be doing it (Yeah I know it’s cliche!). Stop talking about doing what you want to do and go out and do it. Stop reading this post! Find what you love to do and do it to the best of your ability. When you fall short? Dust yourself off and try again. Don’t give up. There is no greater feeling than beating the odds…and I mean kicking it’s ass! I leave with one of my more favorite lines. This one is from the Count of Monte Cristo.
Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shout as you did in Rome. Do your worst, for I will do mine!
